November 9, 2016 was a day that shocked half the nation.
Republican nominee Donald Trump won the 2016 Presidential Election. Although he did not win the popular vote, he was able to defeat Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton with the electoral voting system that he despises so much.
The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy.
