Why I Relaunched My Website – Example Please 2.0

I started Example Please about a year ago with a big vision. I wanted to inspire others and to try new things. As if juggling one blog and trying to be a wife, mother and student wasn’t enough I decided to add another blog that would take even more energy. I

I have a problem with asking for help sometimes. I don’t like to feel like I have to depend on other people. Well I guess it took some signs from the Lord to tell me I couldn’t do this by myself. I already had one website, Random Roni that I was working on when somehow I got this great idea to get another one.  By pushing myself to do both I ended up overwhelming myself and putting both to the side.

While visiting my parents over the summer I found out I had a blood clot in my leg. Luckily I went to the emergency room early because I later found out the clot was still trying to move and was currently behind the back of my knee. Just a little higher and it would have broke off and went to my lungs. This was an eye opener for me. I thought about all of the things that I put off or gave up on because I felt discouraged.

“Don’t talk about it. Be about it!”

That’s my father’s favorite thing to say when he hears all talk and no action. I shook off the fear of failure and put my big girl panties on. After getting the clearance to return back home, I organized a team and started working on the site again.

“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again…”

I decided to start fresh with all new content uploaded to the site. I want to thank my family and friends for the encouragement. Thank you to all of those that have contributed blog pieces to share. It is with your help that I am able to achieve my goals. I want us all to win!

Sometimes something so overwhelming can turn into your biggest accomplishment. That’s exactly why I wanted to  to revamp this site. I want you all to enjoy reading the content that my contributors and I submit everyday. I hope that it will inspire you to be bold and be daring. Don’t be afraid to think out the box and try something new. Whether it’s trying a new recipe, a new make-up trend or even learning to ride on a hoover board there is something for everyone.

With that being said enjoy the content, share a post, and don’t be afraid to share a story with us!
